I Cannot Stop!

A little background on the reason why I started this blog... I simply cannot stop trying to advocate for the large numbers of adorable, precious children that come across my social media sites.  I try and share every post I can in hopes that one day maybe God will do what he did to me and ask you to adopt a child. In 2006 I was just going about my everyday life with my husband and two biological children (ages 10 and 6 at the time) and orphans or adoption were not words that were in our vocabulary...not even on our radar.  However, God put it on our radar real quick when he asked me to adopt.  We didn't even know anyone who had adopted before, it was a completely new concept for us.  Even so, we decided to follow the one who chose us and set out on the path that would change our lives forever.  Since bringing home our precious daughter from China in 2008 (and our son in 2012) my heart has been gloriously ruined for the children that are still waiting to feel the love of a family, the children who wait.  So in hopes that one day God will ruin your heart for these children like he did mine, I will continue to share the photos and stories of the ones I come in contact with as well as ways you too can care for these children even if you are not being called to adopt (I don't like saying "if you cannot adopt" because everyone CAN adopt, it's just whether or not you are being called to and if you are willing to put your faith into action).  Once you see their faces and learn their stories, you cannot turn away and pretend you do not know.  Please pray about how you too can use your time, treasure, or talents to help these precious gems.
